Adel-DeSoto-Minburn senior London Warmuth is taking a recent milestone to fuel her for the remainder of the 2025 track and field season.

Warmuth, who participated in Girls High Jump at the Drake Relays, won the event with a height of five feet and seven inches. She is the first female champion for ADM at the Drake Relays. Warmuth tells Raccoon Valley Radio that it was amazing to win the event, but she is far from satisfied with bigger goals in mind.

“It just feels good. Some people say like it’s surreal, or it’s their biggest dream come true, but for me, I think it’s more of a motivation to do even better. I have so many more aspirations and goals looking forward into my future career, so I think this is just giving me a little more motivation to work a little harder and take a little more seriously.”

Warmuth credits her High Jump Coach Josh Chapman as he’s been able to instill confidence and reminding her to have fun while she’s competing. Following her final high school season, she’ll be attending the University of Wisconsin to continue her track and field career. The Tigers had a meet in Carlisle last night and will now gear up for the Raccoon River Conference Meet on Wednesday in Gilbert.
