Jairo Baca Izaguirre, age 35, 6820 Holcomb Ave, Urbandale, was arrested for Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

Tanya Kephart, age 37, 344 E. Thornton Ave, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Violated Probation Terms.

Charity Silva, Redding, Ca, was driving in the 20000 block of Old Hwy 6.  She slowed to make a left hand turn.  A car driven by Thomas Dixon, Adel, attempted to pass Ms. Silva and caused a collision.  Ms. Silva was taken to the hospital to evaluate any injuries.  Mr. Dixon reported no injuries.  Damage to Ms. Silva’s vehicle was estimated at $2000 and the vehicle was left there to be picked up later.  Damage to Mr. Dixon’s car was estimated at $3000 and was privately towed.   Mr. Dixon was issued a citation for Unsafe Passing.

Kasum Turkovic, Redfield, was traveling in the 19000 block of Old Hwy 6 when he indicated he swerved for a deer and went into the ditch.  Occupants were checked by EMS at the scene.  Damage was estimated at $1500 and the vehicle was towed privately.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
