ACGC hosted the Gonzales/Parrish Coed Track and Field Meet in Guthrie Center on Thursday and both high schools located in Greene County had teams there. The Greene County Rams placed first among seven girls’ teams and the boys were fourth in a nine team field. Paton-Churdan was sixth on the boys’ side with 39 points and the girls were seventh with 18 points  The Greene County girls’ were 10 points better than IKM-Manning 176-166, and the boys’ crown went to Treynor with 140 points. ACGC had 129 points with 128 from IKM-Manning, and the Rams were one more back at 126.

The Rams won six girls’ events and four for boys. The Rams won the long jump for girls with Makenna Ebersole at 14′ 8-1/2″ and took first in the girls shot put by Daniele Madsen at 34 feet, 11 inches. Payton Kokenge went 5′ 0″ to win the long jump and Becca Anderson took first place in the 200 meter dash in 26.67 seconds and the 400 meter dash in 1:00.94 . The girls won the 4 x 400 meter relay in 4:18.98 with Anderson, Addison Gannon, Hannah Fouch, and Kaycee Pittman,  First place boys’ events for Greene County were by Jaron Jacobs in the long jump at 19 feet, nine inches, and the discus throw by Isaac Carman with a best toss of 146′ 8″. The distance medley relay of Br0c Stream, Zack Stalder, Nick Stream, and Drew Wolterman won in a season best time of 3:44.42, and the 4 x 400 meter relay won in 3:18.9 with Crew Conner, Wolterman, Lane Fields, and Nick Stream.

P-C was led by sophomore Trevon Keely. He went six feet, two inches to win the high jump. He finished in second place at 19′ 4″ in the long jump, was second in the 200 meter dash in a person best time of 22.76 seconds, and was fifth in the 100 meter dash in 11.56 seconds. He scored 30 of the Rockets’ points.
