Tomorrow the Lake Panorama National Golf Course will be holding its Course Improvement Fundraiser.

Lake Panorama National Resort Director of Operations Royce Shaffer says that the fundraiser began a few years ago after the over 50 year old course began showing its age. He mentions that in their April 2024 meeting, the LPN Board of Managers set an initial goal of $500,000 for a multitude of projects, though they realize that as time passes that may not be enough to cover everything. Shaffer explains that to date, they have been able to raise $88,870, with some already being used to renovate four forward tee boxes last year. He adds that 10 teams registered for the tournament this year. Check-in and lunch will be at 12:30pm, with the tournament to begin at 1:30pm.
