A yearly spring event is taking place today in Dallas County with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.

The Dallas County Master Gardeners is holding its fifth annual plant sale today from 9am to 2pm. Horticulture and Conservation Program Educator Megan Will shares there will be plenty of plants to choose from, revealing what will be on display.

“We have vegetables and herbs, we have house plants, we have perennials both for sun and shade, we’ll have some annuals that some of us (master gardeners) have grown but also local garden centers have donated to us for our fundraiser. We will have a master gardener making some larger tomato cages.”

Will outlines that prices range from $5 to $25, with the sale happening at the Dallas County Community Building, 28057 Fairground Road, in Adel.
