Today is the final day of the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Plant Sale.

TJ Gardens Board President Danielle Ross says while supplies last, there are 12-inch hanging baskets for $30, window planters and medium sized round planters that are $16 or $40, along with their t-shirts for $15. She points out that the proceeds from the fundraiser goes to maintaining the gardens, which includes purchasing fertilizer, weed control products and pond maintenance.

Ross adds that this year, they are looking to plant more perennials and adding more firefly petunias in the Children’s Garden, due to the popular effect they have of glowing in the dark. The Plant Sale is from 10am-1pm today
