Perry track and field ended the week in Boone Thursday night.  The coed meet saw the Jayettes finish in fourth place while the Bluejays came in sixth.

The Perry girls scored 79 team points.  They finished behind three teams including the host Boone, who got the top spot.  The Jayettes saw success in numerous relays.  They claimed the gold in the Distance Medley (4:25.50) and 4X400M (4:24.80).  Lily Myers added to the first places by winning the 400M Hurdles (1:08.02).  Treasure Moore secured second in the 200M (26.74) and so did the 4X100M Hurdle relay (1:16.98)

The boy’s meet saw Boone win the whole thing.  Webster City claimed the second spot.  The Bluejays finished with 60 team points.  Perry’s top finishes included second place finishes in 4x110M Hurdle (1:06.36),  110M Hurdle (16.25), and 400M Hurdle (57.10) for Owen Myers.

The Heart of Iowa Conference meet is next for Perry.  The conference meet is this Thursday in State Center.
