With the graduation season approaching, the Carnegie Library Museum in Perry is celebrating during the month of May.

According to Museum Librarian Candi Coffin, the library is inviting people out to the History of Local Graduates Exhibit throughout the month, where there will be yearbooks and graduation pictures of students from Perry High School and St. Patrick’s Catholic School. She notes that the yearbooks will not only feature students from this upcoming graduating class, but from years past dating back to as early as 1917.

Coffin says that there will be yearbooks for people to look through as well as old newspapers that feature former graduates. She indicates that it’s a fun way to recognize all the residents that have been through the school system and identify what they’re now doing with their lives. The exhibit will be available all month long during regular business hours. Any questions can be directed to the Carnegie Library Museum at (515)-465-7713.
