The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Track and Field Teams will hit the road tonight as the regular season winds down with the Raccoon River Conference Meet at Gilbert.

ADM will race against Ballard, Bondurant-Farrar, Boone, Carlisle, Carroll, Winterset, North Polk, and the host school of Gilbert to determine the top team. The Tigers have had a successful year up to this point, with a healthy representation at the Drake Relays and great individual performances.

Senior London Warmuth brought home the first title in the high jump at the Drake Relays with a height of five feet and seven inches, junior Elise Coghlan broke the school record in the 400 meter hurdles at 1:03.65 during the final ADM Home Meet, and senior Corbin Reed ranks third all-time in school history at 14.76 in the 110 meter high hurdles. Senior Josi Dufoe tells Raccoon Valley Radio the main focus going into the meet.

“A lot of mental preparation. I mean we’ve been physically prepared and we’ve seen that through our results and stuff, so right now it’s just really focusing on we’re here to win state now.”

The meet is happening at 4pm this afternoon over at Gilbert High School.
