Perry boy’s soccer traveled to Des Moines last night to take on Grand View Christian.  The Bluejays left Cownie Soccer Complex with the 12-2 win.  Dewey Field hosted the Perry girls against the Thunder and that match ended in a 2-2 tie.

The Jayettes scored twice in the first half and took a 2-1 lead into half.  The Thunder would find the equalizer in the second half for the 2-2 draw.  The tie moves Perry to 5-5-3.  They finish conference play 2-1-1, which is tied for second.

The Perry boys improve to 9-1-3 and finished with a perfect 5-0 record in the Heart of Iowa Conference after the 12-2 victory.

Next up for the Bluejays is a home contest with Gilbert tomorrow night.  The Jayettes will be at Gilbert the same evening.  Both matches start at 7P.
