On Monday, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs tennis teams battled against the Indianola Indians and would put up a fight, but unfortunately both Mustang teams would fall to the Indians. The Mustang girls would fall by 3, with a 7-4 final score as the boys would bring it within 1 but would fall 6-5 to Indianola.

For the Mustang girls, Reece Hennessy and Caroline Edsen would pick up victories in their positions to help keep the Mustangs in the fight. For the boys, Ky Wilkens, Griffin Kleis, and Louis Mbaya would win their matches but would end up just one point short in the 6-5 loss against Indianola.

Conference action is today for both Mustang teams as the girls travel to Pella Christian High School for the Little Hawkeye Conference Meet and the boys make the journey to Caldwell Park-Pella Tennis Courts. The action is set to begin for both meets at 9am.
