
One night after one of the great comeback wins in Greene County high school boys’ soccer history, Coach Chad Black’s Rams were back at it, this time on the road in Carroll vs. Kuemper Catholic. After Monday’s 5-4 win over PCM (Monroe) in Jefferson, the Rams lost 4-3 vs. Kuemper Catholic on Tuesday. It was the third straight match the Rams have allowed four goals and they fell to 6-3 on the season while the Knights improved to 4-6-1. Kuemper Catholic bounced back to upset the Rams after losing on Monday in Denison to Denison-Schleswig, 7-0.
The Rams had goals from sophomore Ethan Carstens and juniors Fredy Aguilar and Franklin Regalado. The score was tied 1-1 at the half. Greene County had an assist from junior Teagan Chisholm. The Rams had 19 shots and 12 shots on goal.
The Knights had two goals from Fletch Badding and single goals by Carson Kanne and Charles Mayhall.
