The AC/GC Chargers boys golf team competed in their conference meet on Tuesday.

The Chargers came in 6th, with 354 total strokes on the day. Freshman Sayer Bireline-Huss was the highest ranked of the six competing, tying for 12th with 80 strokes, while junior Casey Young made 16th place with 82 strokes. Senior Noah Kading and junior Chase Slaybaugh tied for 38th place with 96 strokes apiece, while freshman Kinnick Froehlich tied for 48th with 99 strokes. Rounding things out for the Chargers was junior Collin Stringham, who came in 55th with 106 strokes.

Tonight the boys and girls track and field teams will be in Panora, for the Panorama COED Track Invitational. Familiar teams also heading to Panora include Audubon, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Des Moines Christian, Earlham and Van Meter.
