The leader of the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Golf Team highlights the support the girls program provides during the season.
ADM Boys Golf Head Coach Nolan Gitch tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they have a great working relationship with the girls team, as all the athletes always show support for each other. He explains that each squad coordinates their schedules to have equal opportunities to play at the River Valley Golf Course in Adel during the season, but that Tiger Girls Coach Dana Brown and he are able to figure that out, with the help of ADM Activities Director Rod Wiebers. He says that the boys feed off the energy of when the girls are playing at a high level.
“When we play well and we see them play well, it always provides for a good atmosphere around practice and the kids obviously intermingling with each other has always been a good healthy relationship there too. Spring is a great time here at ADM.”
ADM Boys are coming off a meet versus Carroll yesterday and are participating in the Elite Showdown at Legacy Golf Course in Norwalk, while the girls had senior night yesterday and will travel to Ballard on Monday for the Raccoon River Conference Meet.
