As heard last night on 94.3, 99.7, and AM 1310 KDLS, Perry boy’s soccer hosted Gilbert.  The Tigers left Dewey Field with a 2-0 victory over the Bluejays.  Gilbert showed why they are ranked second in the 2A polls as the Tigers led 2-0 at half and they tested Diego Velasco over half a dozen times.

The Bluejays couldn’t capitalize on the few shots they got as they were shut out for the fourth time this season.  Jonathan Banuelos five match scoring streak ended in the defeat.

Last night’s loss drops Perry to 9-2-3.

The Bluejays take on another top team this Saturday with a trip to Urbandale.  The J-Hawks are ranked second in the 3A polls.  Kickoff is set for 12:15P tomorrow.
