Perry girl’s soccer will celebrate their senior class today.  The Jayettes will welcome Des Moines Hoover to Dewey Field.  Kickoff is set for 10A and a pregame ceremony will take place ahead of the match.

Perry sits at 5-6-3 after a Thursday night loss to Gilbert, 10-0.  Hoover comes in limping after dropping their last three and own a record of 3-8-1.

The Jayettes have 11 seniors on the roster including captain Amy Diaz and third leading scorer Miley Sanchez.

The Perry boy’s will also be in action today.  The Bluejays travel to Urbandale to face off with another top team in the state.  The J-Hawks are currently ranked 2nd in the 3A polls.  Coach Overla tells Raccoon Valley Radio that this is another match to see how good his club is as they prepare for postseason play.  The Bluejays will look to rebound after a Thursday night loss to Gilbert, 2-0.  Perry enters today 9-2-3 while Urbandale is 6-4.  Kickoff is set for 12:15P.
