
The Stuart City Council will meet in regular session Monday night.
The Council will hear a report on the town clean up that took place April 25th and 26th, then consider for approval a fundraiser request from West Central Valley High School. They will also consider for approval the Windy Prairie final plat, facility sidewalk waiver request, barbed wire waiver request, facility site plan, sewer improvements and sanitary sewer easement all for the MidAmerican Energy Windfarm.
The Council will then consider for approval a request to paint the exterior of a building at 112 North Division Street, discuss the Stuart Aquatic Center, and consider for approval the Tri-Center Association Contribution. They will hear about housing development lots with retention ponds from Stuart Public Works Director Jim Henderson, maintenance of a platted street north of 818 North Main Street, and hold a public hearing regarding a 2024-25 city budget amendment before considering for approval a resolution for the amendment.
The Council will also consider for approval the seventh pay estimate to Visu-Sewer for the 2023 Sanitary Sewer System Improvement project for $2,826.25, along with acceptance for the project and release of retainage in the amount of $40,230.53, and Wambold Phase Three sidewalk waiver consideration locations. They will then consider for approval city employee wages for fiscal year 2025-26, a Tax Increment Financing application from Duncan Construction, and an ordinance amending the city code of ordinances regarding provisions in Agricultural-Commercial zoning districts.
