Postseason play is next for the Perry boy’s golf team.  The Bluejays have completed their regular season and can now focus on their Sectional assignment.  Perry will hit the Ames Golf and Country Club on Tuesday.  The meet will begin at 10A with Ballard, Bondurant-Farrar, DSM Christian, Gilbert, Nevada, North Polk, Saydel, and Perry all in attendance.  The three lowest team scores will advance to keep their seasons alive.  Individual golfers also have a chance to advance  even if their team doesn’t place top three.  For that to happen, the individual would have to be a top two placer on a team who didn’t finish in the top three.

The Bluejays do not have a top 50 golfer based off best scores in an 18 hole round.  Freshmen Reid Iben and Isaac Winey have been the most consistent linkmen for Perry.

The top teams and individual golfers qualify for Districts on Monday, May 19.
