The West Central Valley Wildcat boys soccer team had a successful sweep in Creston on Saturday at the Panther invitational, and look to carry this momentum into tonight’s match up against the Knights. The Wildcats travel to the Carroll Athletic Stadium for battle against Kuemper Catholic with the girls starting first at 5:30 with the boys to follow at 7.

Junior Aiden Brandon was hot on Saturday, scoring 2 goals against Clarke in the 2-0 victory, and 2 more goals against Creston in the 5-0 victory over Creston. Freshman Luis Huerta would break out as well against Creston, scoring 2 goals, while sophomore Garret Wolfe would get some playing time as keeper subbing in for Gabe Gerling who had 4 saves over the weekend.

The Wildcat girls enter tonight’s contest at 8-4 while the #9 ranked boys sit at 12-0-1. The battle in Carroll against the Knights begins at 5:30 for the girls, with the boys to follow at 7.
