The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Golf Teams participated in the Raccoon River Conference Meet on Monday, with the boys bringing home hardware and the girls finishing top two.
ADM boys played their conference meet in Carroll, as they acquired 294 strokes to win the meet while the girls tee’d off in Ballard coming in second place behind Gilbert with 390 strokes in the 18 Hole Low.
Tiger boys were led by senior Carter Madison, who was the individual champion with 67 strokes, followed by senior Grant Jansen with 74 strokes and junior Brayden Lucht with 76. ADM’s win gives them back to back conference titles and Tiger Coach Nolan Gitch was named the Coach of the Year for the second straight year.
On the girls side, ADM edged out Ballard, Winterset, Bondurant-Farrar and the three other conference schools with 390 strokes. Senior Annelise Kreifels was in seventh with 94 strokes, then was senior Hattie Lande with 97, and senior Sara Carolan with 98 strokes.
Tiger boys have a quick turnaround playing today in an invitational in Atlantic, while the girls are off until Thursday, when they’ll face off in a meet versus Perry, Dallas Center-Grimes, and Winterset at the Perry Golf and Country Club.
