Perry boy’s soccer celebrated Senior Night last night at Dewey Field against Van Meter.  The Bluejays fell for a third straight outing, 3-1.  Both clubs showed why they were ranked in the top 10 in the polls as it was a 1-1 stalemate in the first half.

Jonatan Banuelos scored his 22nd goal of the season in the fifth minute to give Perry the early lead.  It was all Van Meter from there.  The Bulldogs scored three unanswered goals to take a commanding lead for the 3-1 victory.  The Bluejays did receive some good news ahead of the match.  They moved up one spot to eighth in the 2A polls.

The loss moves Perry to 9-4-3.  The Bluejays will now wait for their postseason assignment as last night completed the regular season.
