
The Greene County School Board will meet tomorrow evening.
The meeting will begin with a public hearing on the current fiscal year budget amendment, followed by the Board considering to approve the measure after the hearing. Next, the Board will consider for approval student driving permit and fundraising requests, bus driver contracts, pay rates, a memorandum of understanding with the Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates (iJAG) program for the 11th and 12th graders, and a well easement with the city of Jefferson.
Additionally, they will consider for approval a concrete quote for several parking lot patches, and different pads at sites within the school district, and an update on the superintendent’s contract. The Board will also set a public hearing on the plans and specifications, form of contract and cost estimate for the photovoltaic project and the consideration of the contract documents with Story Construction. The meeting may end in a closed session to evaluate the professional competency of an employee.
