A Nodaway Valley graduating high school senior is one of the recipients of the 2025 Raccoon Valley Radio Business and Broadcasting Scholarship.

Senior Joanna Larson is planning to further her education at Northwest Missouri State University, with a major in business management. She received a varsity letter in track and field as well as dance, was a manager for the volleyball team, and helped the Red Cross for four years. Larson also took part in the student council as their public relations officer, was a member of the FFA Chapter, the Future Business Leaders of America, and was a member of the National Honor Society. Larson and the second 2025 recipient of the Raccoon Valley Radio Business and Broadcasting Scholarship will both receive $300 as they further their education and pursue careers in business or communications.
