The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Valorant Esports Team played in the first round of the sub state playoffs, coming up short on Wednesday.

The ADM Valorant Varsity Team qualified for the Class 2A Sub State Playoffs this year with a 5-2 regular season record. The Tigers faced off against the Muskies of Muscatine on Wednesday, where they played in two rounds, losing by a score of 13-6 in each. 

ADM had wins over West Delaware, Glenwood, Greene County, Ames, and Burlington during the 2025 spring season. Despite the end for the Valorant Team, the Tigers Mario Kart squad is participating in the state tournament at the IVCCD Orpheum Theater Center in Marshalltown on May 20th.
