The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.
The Council approved a fiscal year 2024-25 budget amendment as presented, along with vacating and the conveyance of real estate to Eric and Jenna Morris. They also approved a Community Development Building Grant contract in the amount of $53,424, and to have Jeremy Bates take over the construction of a basketball court at Michael Mills Park from Y.T. Construction, due to the former contractor not being able to complete the work. City Administrator Lisa Grossman shared that Bates agreed to match the bid made by Y.T. Construction.
