There will be a workshop held next week dealing with plants.
Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Program Director Shelby Van Horn says that the Guthrie County Master Gardeners will be hosting a Window Box workshop at the Panorama High School greenhouse from 1-3pm on May 21st. She mentions that participants will learn the basics of creating planters that are balanced and easy to care for, then help them use that information to put together planters that they will be able to take home. Van Horn adds that those wanting to attend will need to reserve a spot, and can do so by visiting their Facebook page. There is a $20 registration fee, which covers materials needed for the class.
