Perry High School held the 2025 Senior Awards Night on Wednesday, as an abundant amount of money was granted through scholarships.
Principal Brad Snowgren explains that 37 scholarships were awarded by the Perry community, as well as some colleges, in the amount of $1,258,426. He notes that of the 37, three scholarships were new this year from Otley Masonic Lodge 299, the Crime Stoppers of Central Iowa, and the Character Still Counts Award. Snowgren loves the way Perry residents show up for the students each year.
“Just seeing the support the community gives not only in attendance but the amount of the monetary support that’s given through the scholarships.”
During the ceremony, Raccoon Valley Radio General Manager John McGee presented senior Brissa Sandoval with a $300 Business and Broadcasting Scholarship, as she plans to attend Iowa State University for Supply Chain Management and International Business.
