Willow Ray is the lone representative for the West Central Valley Wildcats track teams as Ray would place first in high jump at the Class 2A state qualifying meet at Clarinda High School on Thursday.
Ray would take home the gold with a jump of five feet and six and a half inches to claim her place at the state tournament. This continues Willow’s dominate year, as she qualified for state in wrestling, participated in the Drake Relays and now has qualified for state while breaking the West Central Valley school record for girls high jump.
Willow Ray will represent the West Central Valley Wildcat track teams at the Blue Oval at the state track meet in the girls high jump event.
