The Iowa Pork Producers Association (IPPA) recently completed its “Pork in the Pantry” program for the year.

The Adair County Pork Producers took part in the event, donating $1,000 worth of pork to the Adair County Food Pantry in Greenfield. Adair County Pork Producers member Grace Evans says that the IPPA works with county pork producers each year to make sure food pantries in the county receive some pork for their patrons. She adds that they worked with Fareway in Greenfield to supply the pork products as their donation to the food pantry.
