Adel-DeSoto-Minburn senior Annelise Kreifels fell a stroke short of medaling at Thursday’s girls golf meet at the Perry Golf and Country Club.

ADM competed against Perry, Dallas Center-Grimes, and Winterset as the Tigers racked up 197 strokes, finishing second behind the Mustangs at 195, then the Huskies in third at 207 and the Jayettes at 211. DCG junior Joey Moberg was the medalist leading the way with 44 strokes in the 9 Hole Low, followed by Kreifels at 45, and Perry junior Karagyn Whelchel at 46 strokes. 

The Mustangs’ other two top girls were sophomore Madison Holste (46) in fourth and sophomore Rilyn Cunningham (51) in ninth, as ADM had seniors Mackenzee Lathrop (49) in fifth and Hattie Lande (51) in eighth, with Perry senior Christina Kanealy (49) in sixth and sophomore Kalley Whelchel (52) in 13th.

For the Tigers, that was the last meet as they gear up for Class 3A Regional play on Wednesday at the Carroll National Golf Club, starting at 10am.
