On Friday the West Central Valley Soccer teams hosted the Central Iowa United Trojans for senior night and the final home game of the regular season. Both Wildcats teams would defeat the Trojans 3-0 in both matches.

For the girls, Maleah Speichinger would give the Wildcats the lead early striking first in the third minute of the match. Elle Belden would bring the score to 2-0 in the 32nd minute scoring just before the half. Senior Abbie Belden would score the final goal for the Wildcats in the 78th minute while keeper Rhowen Miller would secure the shut out for West Central Valley.

In the boys contest, Aiden Brandon would strike first for the Wildcats notching in the first goal of the game in the 10th minute. To start off the second half, Alan Diaz would use his fancy footwork to bring the lead to 2-0 as Luis Huerta would secure the victory with a goal in the 72nd minute.

The Wildcat girls end the regular season with a record of 8-4-1 while the boys finish the season undefeated at 14-0-1. The Wildcat girls post season begins on Wednesday at home, as West Central Valley plays host to the Riverside Bulldogs.
