The AC/GC Chargers girls track and field team is headed to the 2025 Iowa High School State Track Meet this week.

The team is sending four athletes to compete in four different events. Senior Ava Campbell continued to show dominance in the long distance races, and will compete in the 800 meter and 1500 meter races. The team of Nora Langgaard, Meranda Gruber, Cadence Petersen and Campbell will compete in the distance medley relay. Petersen was also able to secure an at-large vote, and will be taking part in the 400 meter hurdles. The athletes take to the Blue Oval starting on Wednesday.
