The Greene County high school boys’ soccer program has continued one streak and hopes to keep another going when it opens Class 2A Substate play tomorrow night. The Rams have had their own soccer program since 2018 and every season (no games were played in 2020 due to the Pandemic) the Rams have won more games than they’ve lost. The 2025 team kept that streak going with a 7-3-1 record heading into postseason play tomorrow night.
The Rams host MOC-Floyd Valley at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Linduska Field in Jefferson. A win by the Rams would extend a streak of winning at least one postseason match every season the program has been in existence. The Dutchmen make the long trip from Orange City to Jefferson with a 2-8-3 record and they’ve yet to record a win this season over a team that has at least one win.
