
A Jefferson teen is charged with attempted murder after an alleged early May incident.
According to court documents, on May 4th in Sac County, 16-year-old Keegan Kennedy was in the rear passenger seat of a vehicle, when a verbal argument took place with the victim who was seated in the front passenger seat. Court documents show that Kennedy then took out a firearm and shot the victim in the face, between the victim’s left eye and nose. The report shows that the victim is from Sioux City.
Kennedy was arrested and charged in adult court with a Class B Felony for attempted murder. He was booked into the Sac County Jail, where he is being held under a $250,000 cash only bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
