The baseball season officially begins on Tuesday for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs as the Mustang boys travel to Urbandale High School to face off against the J-Hawks. This is a double header match up, with the first game beginning at 5pm with the second to follow at 7.

Last season, the Mustangs would finish the season with a 35-4 record falling in the quarterfinals of the Class 4A state tournament against Dowling Catholic. The Mustangs were lead in hits last season by now senior Taitn Gray with 49 recorded hits, followed by Tate Perrin with and Cross Bandy who tied with 47 hits last season. Now senior Lincoln Harris looks to return to the mound after pitching in 11 games last season with four starts and a 4-0 record.

The baseball season officially begins tomorrow for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs who make the journey to Urbandale High School for double header action against the J-Hawks.
