The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.

The Board will consider for approval the worker’s compensation renewal with State Street Insurance Owner Becky Benton and 2025 Strategy and Project Planning on the topics of a winter weather procedure and travel policy, along with department head and elected official quarterly updates. The Board will also hear updates from County Treasurer Brenda Campbell, County Conservation Director Brad Halterman and County Facilities Manager Brandon Thompson. Campbell will also bring a tax abatement for a parcel of land before the Board for approval, while Halterman seeks approval on a letter of support for a grant, and Thompson gives a presentation on storm shelter options, along with a demonstration.

The meeting will begin at 9am in the Board of Supervisors room in the Guthrie County Courthouse. For those unable to attend in person, there is a digital option available via Microsoft Teams. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting tomorrow.
