West Central Valley Wildcat softball action is just a week away as the season opener for the Wildcats is scheduled for Tuesday, May 27th at 7pm from West Central Valley High School. The Wildcats will play host to the Ogden Bulldogs.

Last summer the Wildcats would wrap up the season with a 15-18 record, falling to the ACGC Chargers in the first round of the post season 4-3. Freshman Grace Bleckwhel returns now as a freshman, as the eighth grader last season lead the Wildcats in wins and strikes from the mound.

Junior Macy Long looks to guide the Wildcats in hits this year as she was behind graduating senior Zoey Dickson last season. Lillian Gilbert also returns for her junior year, notching in 39 hits last season.

The Wildcats look to return to post season action but first must officially kick off the season as softball action is just one week away for the West Central Valley softball team.
