
It was a great ride for the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Golf Team, as their season came to an end on Monday.
ADM participated in the Class 3A District Meet in Red Oak versus nine schools, placing fifth with 315 strokes in the 18 Hole Low. Individually, senior Carter Madison tied for 10th with 75 strokes, then senior Grant Jansen tied for 16th at 79, and junior Brayden Lucht had a two-way tie in 21st with 80 strokes. The teams that finished ahead of the Tigers were Nevada, Atlantic, Ballard, and Gilbert, who won districts with 285 strokes.
Despite the season ending, ADM concluded the 2025 year with a record of 54-21 and were awarded with back to back Raccoon River Conference titles. Also, Head Coach Nolan Gitch was named the RRC Coach of the Year. The Tigers say goodbye to four seniors of Cade Fisher, Grant Jansen, Carter Madison, and Nathan Paulsen.
