
The 2025 State Track and Field Meet begins tomorrow at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, as many athletes from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn will begin competing.
The field events will get the morning started at 9am with ADM juniors Lauren Hagedorn and Taylor Braun in the girls discus throw, as well as the boys high jump featuring Kyler Chapman and Reid Kluesner, plus the girls shuttle hurdle relay with junior Haley Nelson, sophomore Bella Smyth, junior Elise Coghlan, and senior Josi Dufoe.
At 9:40am, freshman Elliotte Von Roden will participate in the girls 3,000 meter run, while senior Torin Timmerman will run in the boys 3200 meters at 10:10am. Tiger freshman Zane Johnson will be in the 200 meter dash at 11am, then the girls 4×800 meter relay with senior Madi James, junior Brecken Morse, sophomore Allie Eggleston, and sophomore Addy Bjork. Coming up at 12:10pm tomorrow will be the boys 4×800 meter relay featuring junior Ty Landphair, sophomore Ty Miller, sophomore Max Marple, and junior Robbie Hall.
Johnson will run in the 100 meter dash at 1:05pm, followed by Morse in the open girls 400 meters at 1:20pm, then it will be senior Cameron Forgy running in the boys 400 meters at 1:40pm, and ADM will have their final event for tomorrow be at 2:05pm with the boys shuttle hurdle relay, including junior Jackson Pitzen, senior Joseph Kitzinger, senior Corbin Reed, and senior Keaton Kier.
