Perry girl’s golf is in Regional action today.  The Jayettes are at the Carroll National Golf Club competing against ADM, Algona, Atlantic, Carroll, Creston, Des Moines Christian, Gilbert, Glenwood, Harlan, Nevada, and Winterset.  The meet begins at 10A.

The top two teams in each region advance to the State Final at Saddleback Ridge Golf Course in Solon. The top six individuals also advance to the next level of play.

Gilbert and Des Moines Christian arrive as the favorites as they each deploy three of the top six golfers at the meet.  Postseason play consists of one 18 hole round.  The Jayettes’ top golfers heading into today are Karagyn and Kalley Whelchel.  The two Perry golfers sit outside the top forty golfers competing today in Carroll.
