On Tuesday the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs girls soccer team kicked off their final week of the regular season with a 2-0 victory over the Pella Dutch from Pella High School. This victory gives the Mustangs the title of Little Hawkeye Conference champions. The Mustang girls advance to 10-4-1 so far this season.

With post season play approaching, the Mustangs look to fine tune their skills before do or die action. Junior Kenna Knief and senior Landry Glasgow would score for the Mustangs against the Dutch, after a scoreless first half giving the Mustangs the 2-0 victory.

The Mustang girls advance to 10-4-1 and prepare for their next battle on Thursday at home as the Mustangs play host to the Dowling Catholic Maroons. Kick off is scheduled for 7:30pm.
