Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School hosted an annual award ceremony for the 2025 senior class on Wednesday.

ADM recognized their seniors with the yearly Rotary Awards, as High School Principal Lee Griebel explains that the organization sponsors the event. He says the Adel Rotary Club bought students pizzas before the ceremony occurred at 1pm, and that the awards given out revolve around local scholarships and memorial funds. Griebel describes the ceremony doesn’t factor in personal scholarships that are outside of the rotary. He gave out the Principal’s Award to Selena Hickman this year for academic achievement.

“So it really is an award given to a student who started ninth grade not so great, but then really put the work in and really the most improved GPA from ninth grade to senior year.”

Griebel adds that over 150 seniors are expected to walk this year for graduation, which is taking place on Sunday at 2:30pm inside the ADM High School North Gym.
