Several student athletes from Perry and Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High Schools are participating in the State Co-Ed Track and Field Meet in Des Moines that is today through Saturday.
The events that qualified for state from ADM include for the boys team the long jump, the high jump, the 3200 meter run, the 200 meter dash, the 4×800 meter relay, the 100 meter dash, the 400 meter dash, the shuttle hurdle relay, the sprint medley relay, distance medley relay, 110 meter high hurdles, the 4×200 meter relay, the 4×100 meter relay, and the 4×400 meter relay. The girls team features the shot put, the discus throw, the shuttle hurdle relay, the 3,000 meter run, the 4×800 meter relay, the high jump, the 400 meter dash, the sprint medley relay, distance medley relay, the 100 meter hurdles, the 4×200 meter relay, the long jump, the 400 meter dash, the 4×100 meter relay, and the 4×400 meter relay. The events qualified for state for Perry on the boys team are the 110 meter high hurdles, then the girls are taking their distance medley relay, the 200 meter dash, and the 400 meter hurdles.
