West Marshall silences Perry’s bats in 8-0 opening night loss in State Center for the Bluejays on Wednesday.

The Trojans wasted no time scoring as they put up a two spot in the first.  They added another two runs in the third.  A four run sixth propelled the top team in 2A to a 8-0 win.

The Bluejays mustered just three hits. Luke Adair and Gauge Freeman made their varsity debuts and each went 1/3 with a single. Geren Kenney collected the third hit for Perry.

Owen Myers took the loss. The senior went four innings, giving up three earned runs, walking four, and striking out five.

The Bluejays fall to 0-1 in the Heart of Iowa Conference.  Quick turnaround with Ogden coming to Perry tonight.  KDLS and the Raccoon Valley Radio Network will have the broadcast at 7P.
