On Wednesday, the West Central Valley Wildcat girls soccer team played host to the Riverside Bulldogs for the second round of regional soccer action. The Wildcats defeated Riverside 5-2, and now face off against St. Albert on Wednesday for the third round of girls regional soccer.

Maleah Speichinger would shine tonight against Riverside as the Wildcat junior would achieve the hat trick, notching in three of the five Wildcat goals. Sophomore Ella Belden would also score in the 31st minute, alongside fellow sophomore Addilyn Richter in the 73rd minute securing the Wildcats the 5-2 victory over the Bulldogs.

The push towards the state tournament continues for the West Central Valley Wildcat girls who travel to St Albert on Wednesday for the third round of regional soccer. Play off soccer is set to begin at 5:30pm.
