Perry girl’s soccer will take the pitch for the first time in 11 days tonight.  The Jayettes welcome the Tornadoes from Storm Lake to Dewey Field at 7P.

Tonight begins Regional competitions for both clubs.  The Jayettes earned the four seed in the Class 2A Region 2 bracket.  They face the 5th seeded Tornadoes.  The winner advances to face the three time defending State Champion in 2A, Dallas Center-Grimes.

Perry enters tonight 6-7-3 while Storm Lake sits at 3-11-1.  The Tornadoes fell earlier this week 3-2 to Sioux City West.  The last match for the Jayettes was on May 12th as they fell 2-0 to Colfax-Mingo.

Freshman, Addison Perks, leads the Jayettes with eight goals on the year.  Ayden Erickson has had a strong junior campaign finding the back of the net six times.  Senior captain, Amy Diaz will look to continue her high school career tonight as Regional play starts.

Kickoff is set at 7P for Perry and Storm Lake at Dewey Field.
