The Perry Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday at a new business that will serve residents physically.
The chamber made an appearance at Flow Chiropractic, 501 1st Avenue, to officially welcome the organization to the area. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti addressed the audience in attendance, expressing excitement to have Flow Chiropractic in Perry. Then Dr. Britt Noel outlined that the acronym “Flow” stands for Fine Life of Wellness, as Noel explained that his goal is to help people find comfort in their body. Noel, who grew up in New London, Iowa, highlighted why he chose to come provide a service in Perry.
“I looked everywhere when I was in school. Me and my fiance didn’t know where we wanted to move, so we looked all over. Then we have family in Des Moines and I like the country, and I like the rural feel, so I started looking outside of Des Moines, and I saw that Perry didn’t have a full-time chiropractor. So I did some research and I thought it would be a great place to settle down and I thought it would be a great community to serve because there wasn’t really an option for a lot of people, they had to drive 20 (or) 30 minutes, and I think I made the right decision.”
Noel said the business opened on May 5th and he welcomes any new patients to treat. He details he charges a $39 new patient special, which covers the first console exam, a digital posture analysis, and the initial adjustment.
