With the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, there are several closings in Dallas County, as well as the cities of Perry and Adel. 

The Dallas County Courthouse and Dallas County Iowa State University Extension Office are both closed in observance of the holiday.

As for the City of Perry, all city offices including the Water Works Office will not be open on Monday. The McCreary Community Building and the Perry Public Library will be closed tomorrow and Monday, to recognize the Perry High School graduation and Memorial Day, but members of the McCreary Building over the age of 18 can still access the 24-Hour Fitness Room. 

Garbage routes in Perry are also on a one day delay. Monday will be moved to Tuesday, and Tuesday’s routes will be picked up on Wednesday. Due to this change there will be no yard waste pickup on Wednesday.

Additionally, the Adel Library, Adel City Hall and Adel Parks and Recreation Department will also be closed for the holiday on Monday.
