Memorial Day is in two days and that means there will be several businesses and governmental buildings closed for the holiday

In Stuart, City Hall will be closed, along with the Stuart Public Library. According to Stuart City Hall, trash services will operate as usual, meaning there will be trash pick up by Avey Sanitation on Monday.

For Panora, the Panora Public Library and the Panora City Hall will be closed for the holiday. The City Council meeting will be moved to Tuesday for the holiday per city code. R&S Waste Disposal will not collect trash on Memorial Day, and pickups will be delayed by one day, with Friday trash collections to take place on Saturday.

In Guthrie Center, City Hall will be closed, and the City Council meeting has been moved to Tuesday due to Memorial Day. The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library will also be closed for the day. The Guthrie County Courthouse and Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, along with all banks and local US Post Offices will also be closed in observance of the holiday.
