Several organizations in the Perry area will be coming together to host a free event to provide information to the community.

According to Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti, the organization is teaming up with the City of Perry, the Perry School District, and Perry Economic Development for a program called the “Perry Power Hour” as a way to provide updates to the public related to their respective areas. She mentions the program will give an opportunity for residents to stay engaged with the latest happenings within the community. Pasutti highlights that the term “Power” is an acronym for “Projects, Opportunities, Wisdom, Excitement, and Resources,” as she discusses the goal behind the session.

“We just saw this as an opportunity to demonstrate that collaboration and working together, and being more aware of what’s going on together. Just really thinking about whatever those updates are on projects or activities, and getting people excited about something that’s coming or ahead of something, and if there’s going to be rumors about it, or things like that.”

Pasutti details the event is taking place at Hotel Pattee on Tuesday from 11:30am-12:30pm for free, and residents can pay $5 for a boxed lunch, sponsored by Minburn Communications. She adds that this will be the first in a series of seasonal updates, as there will be another set for the last Tuesday in September as well as the final Tuesday of January 2026. Pasutti encourages everyone to come out to learn more about the exciting projects in Perry, and the link to register is available by clicking here.
